Compassion Health Toledo is excited to announce our participation and support of the Infant and Maternal Safety Summit hosted by Queens Village. The event, which was held on April 27, 2024 at The Frederick Douglass Community Association, was designed to educate and empower our community on the best practices for ensuring the safety of both mothers and babies. We are proud to say that the summit was a resounding success.

Attendees had the opportunity to engage in informative sessions, participate in discussions, and gain practical knowledge to promote the well-being of mothers and their little ones. The summit provided invaluable insights into maternal and infant safety, and we are grateful to Queens Village for organizing such a meaningful event and allowing us to be a part of it.
Together with Queens Village, we are committed to promoting the health and safety of mothers and babies in our community.

Compassion Health Toledo recently attended the Black Motherhood event hosted by the Toledo Office on Minority Health at the Kent Library Branch. As part of our commitment to supporting maternal health, we had a vendor table offering information on newborn and parenting classes. The event, held on April 11th as part of Black Maternal Health Week, focused on tackling postpartum issues and saw a fantastic turnout. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such an important conversation.
