We were overjoyed to have Dr. Natalie King join Compassion Health Toledo in 2018. Dr King received a prestigious Presidential Scholarship at the University of Toledo College of Medicine from where she graduated in 2011. She was a member of the National Alpha Omega. Alpha Honor Society and won the Family Medicine Departmental Award. Dr. King has always been passionate about caring for the underserved. As a medical student, she was awarded the Arnold P. Gold Foundation's Humanism Award and the SewHope award for Exemplary Service to the people of Guatemala. She has made many medical mission trips throughout Central America. Having decided to devote her career to the underserved, she chose to do her residency at University of Tennessee St. Francis Family Medicine Residency and Christ Community Urban Underserved and International Track. Prior to joining CHT, Dr King worked as a Family Physician at a Dayspring Family Health Center in Jellico, TN where she provided full spectrum health care in rural east Tennessee. She also helped to start a residency program at the University of Tennessee which focused on preparing residents to provide Christ-centered, compassionate care in low resource settings. In her free time, Dr. King enjoys playing piano, running, enjoying nature and being active in her church.
Dr. Anne Ruch received her medical degree from the University of Toledo Medical Center and completed her residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. After working for Maumee OB/GYN for 25 years, she founded Compassion Health Toledo and is thrilled to have the opportunity to work here. She has been the Executive Director of SewHope, a non profit organization that benefits the people of Guatemala for 15 years. She is married with 4 wonderful children and 5 grandchildren. She enjoys anything outdoors, especially running and hiking.
Dr. Coral Matus joined CHT in 2017 and brought with her a wealth of experience, compassion and highest quality of care. Dr. Matus most recently serves as Assistant Professor in the Family Medicine department at the University of Toledo. Dr. Matus has over 20 years of clinical and academic experience. She is passionate about caring for the underserved and about training others to follow in her footsteps.
Dr. Linda Klein completed her medical training at the University of Cincinnati and her family practice training at WW Knight in Toledo Ohio. With over 30 years of experience and endless compassion and wisdom, Dr. Klein brings so much to CHT!
Dr. James Bingle did his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame and completed his medical degree at the Ohio State University. He did his residency training at Indiana University and then completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Toledo Medical Center. CHT has been blessed to have this highly respected cardiologist join our team in 2020!
Jenna Wolf is a Butler University Physician Assistant. Graduating highest in her class, she was a member of the Phi Delta Lambda Honor Society where she served in leadership. As a student, Jenna was engaged in research and volunteer organizations focusing on health disparities in urban Indianapolis. Her international experience and her time spent in both rural and urban areas of need have driven her desire to improve the health of communities and individuals. Jenna has a great love for music including singing and playing instruments as well as playing tennis, traveling and eating great food!
